About the Job
In the role of agricultural advisor, you will work to nurture and develop our existing agricultural business, prospect for new customers, and build networks within the industry. You will identify customers' needs for banking services and then offer customized solutions in payments, savings, and loans. Economic analysis, follow-up of customers' operations, and credit preparation are central parts of the role. The customer base includes everything from part-time farmers to larger production units. Collaboration with salespeople in other departments is important as we want to offer customers comprehensive solutions.
We consider the customer's entire needs and work together with life and property insurance towards our common goals, but you will also have individual goals and be responsible for your customer base. The position is full-time and permanent, located at one of our offices in Skövde, Falköping, Mariestad, or Lidköping.
Since the position involves travel, a driver's license is required.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in agriculture and a good understanding of agricultural economics and operations. Experience in banking as well as education as an agricultural engineer, agronomist, or similar is highly meritorious. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. You are genuinely interested in people and driven to develop and create new business relationships. As a person, you have good social skills, are goal-oriented, and can easily adapt to new situations and circumstances. You care that the customer understands your analyses and conclusions from the complex issues you encounter in your work. You can independently plan and organize your tasks, always keeping the customer, your team, and the company's best interests in mind.
